I’m Jessie Stephens and for as long as I can remember, I have held a passion for designing and creating. My mother always loved beautiful things, and she was the one to light the design “spark” in me. It was a natural path to pursue interior design at the University of Alabama, and when I graduated Summa Cum Laude, was honored to be chosen by school faculty as the top graduate in my class.
I started South House Interiors in 2015 in Andalusia, Alabama. Andalusia is a sweet, Southern town filled with infinite charm, treasured historic buildings, and goodhearted people. I saw the need for interior design services here and I love the challenge of creating welcoming spaces that reflect my clients’ individual lifestyles. I focus on fine, customized details like trims, hardware, and plumbing fixtures and while I revere traditional pieces, I intermingle modern comforts into my designs.
Above all else my heart belongs to a man named Bradley and our two little girls, Clara and Katherine. Faith and family are my foundation. I look forward to meeting you and learning about what you hope to achieve with your home’s design!
